KBeachLife (kbeachlife.com) is a travel guide written to help US travelers plan beach trips to South Korea. This page explains, in plain English, how this website makes money, what affiliate links are, and what they mean for you. We believe you should always know when a website might earn money from something it recommends.

How KBeachLife Makes Money

Running a website costs money — hosting, tools and the time it takes to research and write guides. KBeachLife is supported in two ways:

1. Affiliate links. Some links on this site — for example, links to hotels, tours, activities, transport passes or travel gear — are affiliate links. If you click one of these links and then make a booking or purchase, we may earn a small commission from the company you booked with.

2. Advertising. This site displays advertisements, including ads served by Google AdSense. Advertisers pay to place those ads; they do not choose or influence what we write.

What Affiliate Links Cost You

Nothing extra. When you book through an affiliate link, the price you pay is exactly the same as if you had gone to the booking site directly. The commission comes out of the company’s marketing budget, not out of your pocket. Our Honesty Promise

This is the part that matters most to us:

A commission never decides what we recommend. We recommend the beaches, areas, stays and services we would suggest to a friend planning the same trip — whether or not an affiliate program exists for them. Many of the places and services mentioned on KBeachLife pay us nothing at all.

We do not accept payment to rank a hotel, tour or product more highly, and we do not publish paid reviews disguised as honest ones. If a post is ever sponsored, or a stay or activity is provided to us for free, we will say so clearly in that post.

KBeachLife is a guide, not a travel agency. We do not sell tours, take bookings or handle your payments — bookings are always made with the company you choose, under their terms.
